A horrifying and bizarre misfortune descends upon 12-year-old Yumi. At the birthday party she holds for her classmates, Yumi's playful older sister Mari hides a toy toad's leg in the meal. Sayuri, who despises frogs with an unusual intensity, ends up ingesting it. Yet when she spat it out, the frog's leg was still writhing as if alive.
