MIDNIGHT EYE: Gokuu

Goku makes his living as a run-of-the-mill private investigator. During an assignment centered on an illegal arms dealer, he notices that many of the other detectives on the same case are taking their own lives without any clear reason. When Goku gets too close to the truth, he is forced into a situation where the only way to escape death is to gouge out his left eye. He later wakes up in a strange laboratory, where an unknown scientist replaces his lost eye with a cybernetic one that gives him the ability to control every computer in the world.
