An insect army schemes to wipe out humanity, but three insect-human hybrids rise up to oppose them in this thrilling science fiction tale. Beneath the Arizona Desert, a sophisticated insect race called Gidron constructs a vast subterranean kingdom and prepares to invade, intending to rid Earth of humans—whom they blame for ruining the environment. Yanma, a microid forced into slavery by Gidron, flees with Ageha and Mamezo to warn the world of the impending threat. Microids are beings who share a common lineage with humans but have been shrunk and raised like insects. When they reach Japan, Yanma and his companions find that only renowned scientist Dr. Midoro and his son Manabu take their warnings seriously. Meanwhile, the insects launch their attack, commanded by Jugger, Yanma’s older brother. This massive onslaught causes widespread devastation, throwing towns into turmoil and claiming countless lives.
