In Akihabara, Steins;Gate follows a group of friends who manage to turn a microwave into a device capable of sending text messages into the past. While experimenting with their creation, they draw the attention of SERN, an organization with its own time travel agenda, forcing the group to evade capture.

Background

Steins;Gate is based on 5pb. and Nitroplus' visual novel of the same name. The series was published in English by Udon Entertainment from November 12, 2015, to April 26, 2016. It was also released in Brazilian Portuguese by Editora JBC from April 2015 to June 2015; and in Russian by XL Media from May 23, 2015, to November 10, 2015.
