Morning Moon

In "Morning Moon," Asahina Jinta, who fancies himself a "hard-boiled" type, is sent by his former boss to work at a private detective agency. On his first day, things take an unexpected turn when his bicycle gets hit by a car driven by Shouko, a beautiful detective who has her baby with her. This is far from the detective career Jinta had imagined. The situation at the agency gets worse when Jinta realizes the job is more like a regular office gig, with his main duty being to look after Shouko's child. Despite the setbacks, Jinta refuses to give up. When the phone rings, he answers it before the operator can, kicking off his first case. Through this investigation, Jinta comes face to face with the dark truths lurking within human nature.
