After a surge in communist terrorist activities, Japan establishes a special security unit authorized to employ lethal force. Angel, the newest member, fights to destroy the terrorist group Red May. When she inadvertently discovers connections between Red May and the government, she and her fellow Special Security Force members become targets for elimination by three "hunters"—psychically enhanced agents working for the government. Alongside her cybernetically modified partner, Raiden, Angel must defeat them.
