Isono Tadashi is a 36-year-old man with a strong sense of justice, but his plain looks have always left him unlucky in romance. To make matters worse, his hair began thinning in his late twenties and he gave up exercising altogether. This unfortunate triple combination of being plain, bald, and overweight followed him everywhere—even a simple stop at a convenience store earned him disdainful glances from those around him. One day, he came across a fire. A child was left behind inside the burning house, so he rushed in to rescue her, ultimately jumping from the second floor and losing his life. When he woke up, he found himself reborn as Oono Natsumi, a girl who had been in a coma following a traffic accident. Granted a second life as the beautiful Natsumi, he decided to savor this new existence. However, upon discovering that the gorgeous Natsumi—who had a tendency to pamper the opposite sex—was actually a girl with a dark heart, he resolved to live out this life kindly and virtuously as a girl.
