Elementary schooler Kazamaki Shouta constantly gets picked on due to his small build and timid nature. He longs for the day he grows up and leaves his tormentors behind. One day, he stumbles upon a pocket bike race and is profoundly impressed: despite the tiny size of the machines and the fact that most riders are children, the competition is packed with surprising speed and fierce determination. Even a small girl named Kana fearlessly charges her way into the lead. When adult racer Okita Takurou notices Shouta watching with intense interest, he offers the boy a ride on his bike. That first time on a motorcycle, tearing down the track among practicing riders, sparks a burning passion for racing inside Shouta. By simply observing, he picks up techniques like leaning into corners, revealing a natural gift for the sport. With Takurou as his coach and against his parents' objections, Shouta begins entering races. This is the tale of his quest to become a champion racer.
