A letter from an old friend said, "A student who stays here will bring about humanity's destruction." The next day, I went to school even though I wasn't sure how long it had been since my last visit. Saying I went to track down the culprit wouldn't be accurate, but ignoring it completely wouldn't be honest either. "Hey Arata, I thought you might have forgotten the way to school." By the way, my name is アラタ (Arata), written with the kanji 新, though it's often mistaken for シン (shin). "What brings you here today, Nouko? You seem to visit pretty often." The students here are what you'd call "losers"—at least from the viewpoint of time travel; we're all considered replaceable. And I'm no different.
