In "Tokyo★Innocent," a teenage youkai named Hanzou travels from a far-off island to Tokyo in search of a wife. There, he meets Ichijouji Mei, a young woman who starts drawing youkai to her body after turning sixteen. The story, set in Tokyo—a refuge for many different spirits—unfolds as a romantic comedy about a girl who comes across a monster.
