Kaiketsu Cyrano

Cyrano de Bergerac is a French Army cadet of noble birth, a man blessed with numerous gifts—a bold personality, a prodigious nose, and a knack for everything from swordplay to poetry and music. But his fiery temperament soon lands him in hot water with Chancellor Richelieu and the Comte de Guiche, a pair of scheming nobles who have designs on toppling the king. Meanwhile, Christian, a country-bred swordsman, finds himself in Paris. While his friend Ligniere gives him a tour of the city, the two happen upon the lovely Roxanne. Though the courteous Christian drapes his cloak—and every other garment he has—across a stretch of puddles so Roxanne may pass without a spot of dirt, his bashfulness keeps him from ever working up the nerve to speak to her.
