Banri "Ban" Oogami and Yukito "Yuki" Orikasa develop a deep bond due to their shared musical goals, eventually forming their own independent idol unit, Re:vale. Although Yuki is naturally quiet, Re:vale achieves tremendous success and grows increasingly famous over time. A devastating incident occurs when Ban suffers a severe injury during a live show; he survives but vanishes without a trace, leaving Yuki heartbroken. Momose "Momo" Sunohara once dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player, but those hopes were crushed by an injury. To lift his spirits, his older sister Ruri takes him to a Re:vale concert, even though Momo initially has no interest in idols. Captivated by the performance, Momo soon meets both Ban and Yuki. With the two now apart, Momo dedicates himself to rekindling Yuki’s love for music and helping him find his lost partner. The only way to accomplish this is to build a new incarnation of Re:vale.
