Mew and Mica, two forgetful alien androids, pretend to be ordinary high school students to hide their real role as the planet's most unreliable protectors. Their fights against shape-shifting monsters create just as much chaos as the awkward situations they and their classmates keep getting into.

Rakushou! Hyper Doll was published in English as Hyper Dolls by Studio Ironcat in comic book format, with 32 issues published from August 1998 to February 2001. The publisher also published the first three volumes in standard tankoubon format, from June 2000 to January 2003.
