Ote wo Haishaku

In the story, Satoru Arimura, a first-year college student studying craft and design at Yuasa's school, has an intense obsession with hands. After their hands accidentally brush in the library, Satoru feels a strong sense of fate. He approaches Yuasa, claiming that Yuasa possesses “the hands of his dreams,” and returns daily to observe them, asking for photographs, sketches, and study sessions. Although initially irritated, Yuasa recognizes Satoru's commitment to his work and eventually agrees to be sketched. One day, noticing a cut on Yuasa's finger, Satoru insists on licking the wound to “purify” it, making Yuasa’s heart race. However, Yuasa is also unsettled by the visible bulge in Satoru’s pants during this act. As time goes on, Satoru’s fixation on Yuasa’s hands gradually expands into a wider interest in Yuasa as a person, while Yuasa remains frustrated by the ongoing focus on his hands. The story explores whether their relationship will develop into something more romantic.
