Mameo's family has run a ryokan for a century, but it's now on the brink of closing. As a last resort, his mother buys an AN-C, a state-of-the-art, hyper-realistic android. However, Mameo discovers that it's actually just a girl pretending to be an android as part of a scheme to pay off her debt. With their mutual destruction guaranteed if anyone finds out, Mameo agrees to help keep her secret at all costs.
