Touma Inaba is preparing for the entrance examination of the prestigious Keio College in Tokyo when his childhood cousin, Urara Kasuga, pays him an unexpected visit. Though they have not been close, Urara holds strong feelings for Touma and convinces him to move in with her because he has no other place to stay. Before the exam, Touma encounters Meiko Yotsuba, a refined and accomplished young woman who is also aiming for admission to Keio. While Meiko passes the exam, Touma catches a cold from Urara and fails as a result. To keep Meiko's respect, Touma pretends he was accepted into Keio. Now, torn between his growing feelings for Urara and his desire to earn Meiko's approval, Touma must manage his deception while navigating his relationships with both girls.
