Kosei Saryo, a company president, begins keeping a "girl pet" who bears an exact resemblance to his late lover, Sayuki Fujino. At the same time, Sayuki’s younger brother Sota is certain that Kosei pushed his sister to her death, so he obtains his own "girl pet" for the purpose of exacting revenge. As both men pour their unresolved emotions into these pets, their lives close in on a collision, caught in a dangerous spiral of love, mourning, and retribution.
