In the story of Blue Ramun, Jessie Jackson is a member of a special tribe called the Blue Ramun, also referred to as the Blue Bloods. The blood of this tribe is a powerful medicine that can cure nearly any disease, whether used by itself or blended with other herbs. When Jessie turns 15 and becomes an adult, she is required to leave her tribe in order to assist those in need. She is sent to the Lezak district, where she works alongside the charming Captain Eagle and the easygoing doctor-priest Randy. Separated from her tribal family, Jessie strives to accomplish her difficult mission, learning along the way the true extent of her own physical and mental resilience.
