After centuries of environmental disasters have left the world scarred, three travelers—a warrior, a priest, and a young woman—cross the barren landscape, struggling to survive. Along the way, they come across the scattered remains of a group of treasure seekers who have fallen into despair. They then uncover what those hunters were after: Azec Sistra, the fabled City of the Dead. But the bandits who wiped out the hunters have already arrived at the city as well. Even more concerning are the beings assigned to guard Azec Sistra and its sleeping souls from any intruders.
