Kyouhei's father agrees to let a friend's daughter live with them while the friend is overseas, despite Kyouhei being against it. As a typical rough teenager, he worries about seeming uncool. But Izumi, the new housemate, turns everything upside down. She is bold, ignores social norms, and is comfortable with nudity—far more modern than Kyouhei's traditional outlook. However, Kyouhei should not be underestimated; he is skilled with his practice sword since they live at a dojo.
