In "Hitorigurashi no Shougakusei," nine-year-old orphan Rin Suzune single-handedly operates her family's restaurant following the loss of both parents. Without the required cooking and management abilities, she finds it difficult to run the establishment effectively, leading to money troubles. Additionally, her classmates bully her because of her poverty. Yet, Rin stays determined. Even though the meals at her restaurant are not outstanding, the local community keeps coming to show their support, attracted by her genuine and diligent character.
