A pair of interconnected tales centered on a lethal female assassin. In Hotel Harbour View, a Japanese expat living in Hong Kong passes his days sipping whisky, taking photos of an upscale prostitute, and awaiting his own death at the hands of the assassin he knows is coming. In Brief Encounter, a famed assassin working in Paris finds himself the target of a hit, and the person sent after him is someone he knows well.
