In C.E. 71, a fragile peace holds between the Earth Alliance and the ZAFT Empire after the devastating battle at Jachin Due. But as Cagalli and Athrun travel to meet Chairman Durandal to formalize the temporary ceasefire, ZAFT extremists and Neo Roanoke conspire to push tensions toward full-scale war. Their scheme involves infiltrating ZAFT territory to seize multiple Gundam mobile suits, marking the first stage of their plan. Additionally, they intend to trigger a crisis that will throw Earth into turmoil. The crew of the Minerva must avert this catastrophe while protecting all those involved, including the uncertain relationship between Athrun and Cagalli.
