When Yui Komori’s father, a clergyman, moves to Eastern Europe for his work, she stays behind in Japan and is entrusted to her distant relatives, the six Sakamaki brothers: Shuu, Reiji, Ayato, Kanato, Laito, and Subaru. The brothers are strikingly good-looking but also extremely cruel. On top of that, they are vampires who regard Yui as nothing more than a weak human to be hunted and fed upon. Yui must adapt to the brothers’ way of life, which includes attending a night school. Even in public, though, she finds no real safety. The Sakamaki brothers have no hesitation in drinking her blood whenever they like, ignoring the danger that she might develop anemia or something even worse. Yui also has to cope with the unpredictable moods of each brother, whether they vent their feelings through brutality or carnal desires. Caught in this chaos, Yui struggles to hold onto her mental health, and wonders if it is even possible to develop genuine affection for any of these same brothers.
