A hot-blooded sports manga following a small-time baseball team that transforms into a star squad through immense effort and practice. After transferring to Sumiya High, protagonist Taniguchi Takeo decides to join the baseball practice at his new school. He puts on his previous school's uniform, and the other team members recognize it as the uniform of Aoba Academy, a school renowned for its baseball program. Because of this, they assume Takeo is a phenomenal player; however, while at Aoba Academy, he was merely an unremarkable second-string player...!?
