Yokodera is a typical teenager with a habit of getting into mischief, especially through perverted acts like peeping and fantasizing about girls. Though his behavior is often misinterpreted as helpful to those around him, he resolves to reform himself. To achieve this change, he goes to a hidden spot on a hill where a legendary wooden maneki-neko statue is said to possess unusual abilities. Unlike typical lucky cats that grant wishes, this one takes something from the visitor—in Yokodera's case, it removes his lustful urges. Initially skeptical, he decides to try it anyway, not realizing that this choice will trigger unexpected transformations in his life.
