In A.G. 101, following the Advanced Generation timeline, an unidentified enemy referred to as the "UE" (Unknown Enemy) destroys the space colony Angel, an event known as "The Day the Angel Fell," which marks the start of humanity's struggle for survival. The story moves to A.G. 108, when the UE attacks the space colony Ovan, where Flit Asuno and his mother reside. During this assault, Flit's mother is killed, leaving behind an "AGE Device" that contains designs for an ancient and powerful weapon called the Gundam. Inspired by this discovery, Flit spends the next several years studying engineering at an Earth Federation facility on the Nora space colony, where he develops the AGE-1 Gundam. By A.G. 115, Flit completes the Gundam just as the UE launches another attack on Nora. With his family's legacy and humanity's future at risk, Flit prepares to pilot the AGE-1 Gundam to defend mankind.
