For more than four hundred years, a family of thieves has stolen wealth and rare artworks, concentrating on items gained by dishonest methods. Their core belief holds that nothing is beyond taking, no matter how well protected. Over these centuries, the thief has always been called Mouse, with the role passing to a new person in each generation. In modern times, Muon Sorata, a young college art teacher, carries on the Mouse tradition. With the help of three devoted and attractive assistants, he carries out bold robberies at art museums and tall buildings. This team has the skill and equipment to secretly move entire structures out to the ocean. Following the Mouse code, Sorata never abandons his teammates, even if it means risking his own capture.
