During the Edo period, a mysterious foreigner named Yankee washes ashore in territory controlled by the Shinsengumi. This enigmatic individual develops a close relationship with the group's captain, Souji Okita. As their bond strengthens and they both become more powerful, the Shinsengumi faces challenges beyond their control. To safeguard Japan, Okita and Yankee are sent to battle various enemies.
