In "Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya," Illyasviel von Einzbern lives a normal teenage life and enjoys magical girl anime until one night a magical wand named Ruby crashes through her bathroom window. Unable to reject the wand, Ruby merges with Illya, granting her magical abilities and the power to transform into Prisma Illya. This fusion strips the wand's previous owner, Rin Toosaka—a skilled mage from the Clock Tower in London—of her magical girl powers. Ruby insists Illya take over the role, forcing her to continue Rin's task of collecting scattered cards infused with magical energy to avert a disaster in Fuyuki City. Illya now balances her secret magical girl identity with everyday life while carrying out the mission assigned by the Clock Tower. Although her dreams appear to come true, Illya wonders if the excitement will prove overwhelming.
