The sudden retirement of popular idol Kusakabe Yuka sent shockwaves across the country and crushed her most devoted fan, high school student Hata Kosaku. Plunged into deep depression after she left the spotlight, Kosaku stopped leaving his room until his fellow students at Tamo Agriculture School convinced him to come back to classes. To everyone's astonishment, Kusakabe Yuka showed up as a transfer student under the alias Kinoshita Ringo. Seeing this as a rare chance to get close to his idol, Kosaku and his close friends set out to uncover why she was there and to build a stronger connection with her beyond simply being classmates.
