Keijo!!!!!!!! Hip Whip Girl

In Japan, a new gambling sport named Keijo has taken the country by storm. Players stand on floating discs and compete using only their chests and hips. Driven by the desire for wealth and escape from poverty, 17-year-old Nozomi Kaminashi leaves gymnastics behind and joins the Setouchi Keijo Training School. She is joined by Sayaka Miyata, a former judo competitor who becomes her close friend. To be admitted, the girls must prove their abilities in an entrance exam. Determined to fulfill their dreams, Nozomi and Sayaka get ready to take on opponents from all over Japan.

Background

Following the conclusion of Keijo!!!!!!!!, Daichi Sorayomi revealed in a that prior to the anime's airing, he was told to conclude the series by the time the anime ended. He also said that he did not receive much support by publisher Shogakukan in producing and popularizing the series.
