As economic inequality widens, environmental damage worsens, trash management issues persist, access to childcare becomes a point of contention, and corruption stays unchecked, the government—entangled in special interests—fails to address the escalating crises and the public anger they stir. In the face of Japan's bleak situation, idols rise as possible redeemers. From the Heroine Party, Sunlight Party, Starlight Party, Bishoujo Party, Wakaba Party, Subculture New Party, and SOS Party, seven idol political factions are formed. These idols, now seated in the National Diet and representing various prefectures, aim to shatter the stagnation gripping Japan using their singing and dancing talents. They strive to bring back happiness to the people and bathe Japan in a brilliant light.
