In place of ongoing tensions between space colonies and Earth, the United Colonies Federation establishes a major battle competition known as the Gundam Fight, held once every four years. Contestants from various nations pilot specially crafted Gundams on Earth, and the victorious nation gains dominion over all others until the next tournament. The story takes place in Future Century 60, during the 13th Gundam Fight, and centers on Domon Kasshu of Neo Japan. Domon’s goal is not only to win the competition but also to track down his brother, who fled from the Neo Japan government after stealing the mysterious Devil Gundam.
