Referred to as the "Hundred Empty Years," the Dark Ages was an era of history completely lacking in records. Legend holds that during that time, a power existed far surpassing anything in the present-day civilization. In modern Tokyo, a city filled with dojos, Hachikazu Soudou—a sorcery master capable of "one versus a thousand"—grips a profound helplessness after he could only hold the hand of his dying childhood friend. Then a government agent named Shizuku Yabusaki approaches him with an unexpected proposition: "Let's go back to the Dark Ages together!"
