Nono Nekomiya, Makoto Yuki, Iori Yuzuki, and Matsuri Amachi were once close friends and members of the light music club. They spent many peaceful moments together during their school years. But when their school was shut down, they had to transfer to different places and part ways. Before saying goodbye, they buried a time capsule under a tree on the school grounds and made a promise to meet again three years later. At that time, Matsuri left in a fit of anger. When they return on the agreed day without having contacted one another in the meantime, they discover that a former teacher has dug up their time capsule and turned it into a scavenger hunt. As they work through the teacher's riddles, the four friends begin to reflect on their school days and the feelings they might still hold for one another.
