Yuuna Yuuki lives her daily life believing herself to be a hero, thanks to her role in her middle school's Hero Club and her constant efforts to help others and brighten their days. But Yuuna's heroic path is about to escalate. When mysterious and destructive beings known as Vertexes begin threatening the world she holds dear, the Hero Club members are alerted by a strange smartphone app to defend it. Together with her best friend Mimori Tougou and the siblings Fuu and Itsuki Inubouzaki, Yuuna must take on the form of magical girls to fight these threats. While balancing school duties and entertaining children, Yuuna and her fellow club members are forced to battle for the survival of their world, confront the harsh realities behind their powers, and discover the true meaning of being a hero.
