One rainy day, Natsuki, a young woman, spontaneously hands her umbrella to a high school student she meets. It is later revealed that this student, Michiko, is the younger sister of the new husband of Natsuki's sister. Despite Michiko's hard outer shell and preference for solitude, she starts to sense a bond with Natsuki. This encounter paves the way for a surprising friendship where both individuals end up relying on each other more than initially becomes clear.
