At the second prince's graduation party, he suddenly accuses Irmhild of threatening her half-sister. He asserts she committed crimes such as pushing her half-sister down the stairs, but his only evidence is a witness claiming the culprit was a blue-haired girl. She warns him to reconsider, noting that she, Irmhild Rippencrock, hasn't been at school this year at all. To clear her name, she declares: Are you ready, Your Highness?
