One day, an odd customer who purchases just a single ball shows up at the pachinko parlor where Akane Saburo—nicknamed "Nail Master Sabuyan"—is employed. That customer turns out to be Isshin Mikyu, a pachi-pro, who praises Sabuyan as a skilled nail master and then demonstrates his "Ninkyu-tama scissors" on a stand that Sabuyan had adjusted to perfection. Seeing this with his own eyes, Sabuyan's competitive spirit ignites, and he finally discovers a way to counter the ball scissors. He stakes a gold bill reading "Go to the Nailer" and throws himself wholeheartedly into the challenge.
