Kadokura Kyouko is a 33-year-old elementary school teacher who has never married. She is kind and nurturing, takes great joy in her work, and is adored by her students, yet her chances of finding a husband seem slim. Yamato Kazuki is a 20-year-old university student with two dreams: becoming an astronaut and marrying Kyouko. He has loved her ever since she was his fourth-grade teacher. Now that he is an adult and has saved enough money for an engagement ring, Kazuki proposes to her. To his surprise, Kyouko agrees to become his girlfriend. Even after starting this romantic relationship, their teacher-student dynamic stays much the same. How will this unusual bond develop?
