Yukiko

While studying in New Zealand, Yukiko is diagnosed with leukemia. To survive, she requires a bone marrow transplant, but none of her relatives are compatible donors. She then encounters Otani Takako, who was saved by receiving a bone marrow transplant from his mother, and he encourages her to join the Japan Marrow Donor Program. This manga was created to promote and increase awareness of the foundation in Japan.
