Eighteen-year-old Shinya Fukazawa had sunk into despair after failing his university entrance exams, weighed down by feelings of inferiority toward his high-achieving older brother. Then one day, he is asked to help out at his beloved grandmother's donut shop in Kyoto. But what awaits Shinya there is not the modest little donut shop he remembers—it has become a neon-lit, late-night hotspot tailor-made for social media. On top of that, the manager has changed to Ren, a strikingly handsome, seemingly frivolous giant. At first, Shinya remains stubborn and resistant, but as he gets pampered by Ren and lends a hand around the donut shop, he gradually starts to change.
