Sekai wo Horobosu Otoko

A retired thief returns from retirement to prevent a scientist—the last person he stole from—from detonating a bomb capable of eliminating all oxygen from the atmosphere. The second story is an anti-war parable set during the Third World War, centering on two bomber pilots who engage in an aerial duel, both crash, and subsequently form a friendship. The Kodansha Japanese print edition additionally contains the one-shot Sekai wo Horobosu Otoko, originally serialized in Adventure King in 1954.
