In the Holy Century year 22, Shinjuku is overrun by monsters and goblins, with humans dwindling as a species amid widespread crime. Natsuki Sasahara, a new recruit at the Police Company and a fledgling bounty hunter, learns the ropes under her boss Batanen Fujioka, a werewolf. As a half-human, half-catbeast possessing magical powers, Natsuki gradually hones her skills in her dangerous profession.
