Summary
Toshihiko Tanaka is the protagonist of Aoki Densetsu Shoot! and a freshman on the Kakegawa High soccer team, wearing jersey number 11 initially before switching to number 10. Born on July 22, 1975, he stands 172 cm tall and weighs 60 kg. Upon joining the club, he was relegated to laundry duties by Co-Captain Kamiya. However, the team eventually recognized his middle-school prowess, allowing him to train. Coach Kubo noticed that Tanaka’s footwork was unbalanced, leading to a discovery that his true strength lay in his left leg rather than his right. This insight resulted in separate, rigorous training focused on his left foot. Although Tanaka initially protested and felt disgraced, he soon realized the immense power of his left leg, which Kubo described as a miracle. He earned the title "The Miracle Left" and became the team's ace striker. His signature techniques include the Golden Left Foot, Submarine Shot, Front Axial Shot, and the Two Plato Shot performed alongside Kazuhiro.
