Summary
Haruhiko is the reincarnation of Shukaido. Unlike Sakura and Daisuke, he never sees the advertisement in Boo! magazine, with Rin encountering him at a uniform store and recognizing his true identity. Haunted by guilt over his past-life actions toward Shion, Haruhiko submits to Rin’s commands, falsely claiming to be Shion’s reincarnation. This ruse proves effective, as Rin’s schemes and the group’s reconstruction of their moon memories instill fear in the other reincarnates regarding Haruhiko’s intentions, despite him taking no actual action against them. He suffers from a weak heart caused by the excessive use of ESP in his youth. Haruhiko physically resembles Shion due to Shukaido’s obsession with him, a trait explained by Haruhiko’s mother being half Indian, making him three-quarters Japanese and one-quarter Indian.
