Summary
Hideo is a Parasite who assumes the form of a teenager and chooses to assimilate into human society. He enrolls in the same high school as Shinichi and expresses a desire to befriend him, but Shinichi remains distrustful. While Hideo is generally peaceful, he shows no hesitation in brutally injuring or killing bullies who provoke him. He continues to hunt humans for food, although he claims he is learning to consume normal food instead.
