Summary
Zantetsu is a composed young man who paradoxically enjoys acting foolishly. He has a habit of quoting idioms during conversation, though he often misquotes them incorrectly. As a member of Team V, he crosses paths with Nagi and Reo during the First Selection phase of Blue Lock. The duo nicknames him "Baka Zantetsu," a label he strongly resents given his distaste for being considered stupid. Although his intellect may be lacking, Zantetsu is driven by a fierce determination to reach his objectives. In combat, he relies on his rapid acceleration and his ability to shoot with precise accuracy using his left foot. Interestingly, his glasses serve no corrective purpose for his vision; he wears them solely to project an image of intelligence.
