Summary
George Miyagusuku is an Okinawan-American veteran of the US Army who served during the Vietnam War. He was among the soldiers present when Saya lost her sanity, resulting in a massacre of both friends and enemies. As one of the few survivors, the first David tasked him with guarding Saya’s sleeping body during her subsequent hibernation cycle. Although George had previously lost his wife and biological children in an accident, the sound of Saya’s heartbeat within her cocoon gave him the will to live. Once she awoke and proved she was no longer a threat, he adopted her as his daughter. At this stage, he also raises two adopted sons, Kai and Riku, and operates a restaurant-bar named Oboro in Okinawa.
